Ebony Walcott

Ebony is a Brooklyn-born art educator, artist, writer, poet, and alumna of Artistic Noise. She currently serves as the Curriculum Specialist at I Am Why, a nonprofit that brings young women and gender expansive activists together with researchers and other partners to increase young activists’ individual and collective power. Previously, Ebony was the Program Assistant and Community Outreach Specialist at Artistic Noise for nine years and is one of the original developers of the I Am Why curriculum.

Ebony is the first member of the alumni community to join the board of Artistic Noise.
